Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Klyve Utvikling ("Aria", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Aria mobile application and related services (the "Service").

Aria is a personal AI fitness coach. By its nature it processes information about your body, training, and habits so it can build and adapt your plan. We treat that information as sensitive and only collect what the coaching experience needs.

By using Aria you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your email address and authentication details, managed through our authentication provider when you create an account or sign in.

Profile and fitness data: information you provide during onboarding and ongoing use, such as your goals, gender, age, height, weight, activity level, training experience, equipment, injuries, dietary preferences, and workout schedule. This is used to generate and adapt your program and macros.

Check-in data: weekly and daily entries including body weight, body metrics, progress photos, and answers to check-in questions.

Health data (optional): if you connect Apple Health, we read the specific metrics you authorize (for example body weight or activity) to enrich your coaching. We never receive Apple Health data you do not explicitly grant.

Coach conversations: messages you exchange with the AI coach and feedback you give on suggestions.

Subscription data: your subscription and entitlement status, provided to us by our payments provider. We do not collect or store your full payment card details — those are handled by the App Store or Google Play.

Usage and device data: app interactions, feature usage, crash and diagnostic information, and basic device identifiers, used to keep the app reliable and to improve it.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create, deliver, and adapt your personalized workout program and meal plan.

To power the AI coach, check-ins, progress tracking, and transformation features.

To manage your account, subscription, and access to paid features.

To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnosing problems and analyzing aggregate usage.

To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.

To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI Processing

Aria uses third-party large language model providers to generate coaching content, plans, and chat responses. To do this we send relevant profile, training, and check-in information to these providers so they can produce a response.

We only send what is needed to generate the result, and we contract with providers that commit not to use your data to train their general models. AI-generated guidance is informational and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate Aria, and only as needed to run the Service:

Cloud database and authentication (Supabase) — stores your account and app data.

Payments (RevenueCat, together with the Apple App Store and Google Play) — manages subscriptions and entitlements.

AI providers — generate coaching content as described above.

Apple HealthKit — only the metrics you authorize, read on-device.

Product analytics and crash reporting — help us understand usage and fix problems.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and progress content, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or security obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can edit most of your data directly in the app, and you can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings. For any other request, contact us at support@ariafitness.io.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are: performing our contract with you (delivering the Service), your consent (for optional health data and progress photos), and our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material breaches as required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

Aria is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
